Infinite Search Space is a free hobby site run by one person. These rules apply to everyone who plays here. Each contest also has its own rules on its page.
Your leaderboard name is public. After your first rename, you can change it once every 30 days, so the standings stay easy to follow. Don't pick one that is offensive or that pretends to be someone else. We may change or remove a name that breaks this rule.
Your answers stay yours. By submitting one, you let us store it, score it, and show its score on the leaderboards. After a contest ends, we may publish the best answers, credited to your leaderboard name.
We check every submission automatically, but mistakes happen. We may correct a score, remove a submission that breaks the rules, or reset a leaderboard, especially during test runs. If there's a dispute, the organiser makes the final call.
Most contests are played for bragging rights. When a contest has a prize, its page says what it is and how it's awarded.
The site is provided as it is. It may go down, lose data or close without notice, and we can't be held responsible for that. Keep your own copies of your best answers.
We may update these rules. The date below shows the last change.
